Job description

OMEX is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill a temporary cleaning position at a residential apartment complex. Anticipated dates of cleaning is from 3 - 17 August. The individual will be responsible for cleaning various size apartment units each day, ensuring they are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for occupancy or inspection. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining high cleanliness standards in residential settings. This is a temporary position based on the move-out schedules for ASU in the summer, fall, and spring.
Location: Union Tempe Apartment (Located 10 minutes OMEX main office)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (non-negotiable)
Schedule: 8 hours per day | Temporary Position (Depending on number of units available for cleaning)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed cleaning in all rooms of the apartment units, including:
โ€ข Bedrooms: Dust furniture, clean baseboards, wipe surfaces, vacuum or mop floors, and spot-clean walls.
โ€ข Bathrooms: Scrub toilets, tubs, showers, and sinks; clean mirrors and fixtures; sanitize all surfaces.
โ€ข Kitchens: Clean countertops, cabinets (inside and out), sinks, stove tops, appliances (interior and exterior), and backsplash areas.
โ€ข Living Areas: Dust all surfaces, wipe down walls, clean windows and window sills, vacuum or mop floors.
โ€ข Floors: Vacuum carpets, mop tile or hardwood flooring, and ensure corners and edges are free of dirt and debris.
โ€ข Follow company cleaning checklists and protocols to ensure consistency and quality.
โ€ข Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools safely and effectively.
โ€ข Restock any supplies provided by OMEX as needed for staging or final walkthrough.
โ€ข Communicate promptly with the supervisor regarding completed work, supply needs, or issues observed in units.
โ€ข Maintain a professional demeanor while on-site and ensure all work is completed efficiently within the 4-hour window.
Requirements:
โ€ข Proven experience in residential, apartment turnover, or commercial cleaning is highly preferred.
โ€ข Strong understanding of cleaning best practices, including sanitation and safety.
