Here are your additional requirements:

• Documentation -You'll accurately and concisely document the nursing process in the patient's electronic medical record, reflecting the implemented plan of care by the patient, family, and healthcare team. You'll also ensure timely documentation of care, updates, education, and the patient's and family's responses, in line with hospital policy.
• Team Member Responsibilities- As a healthcare team member, your responsibilities will include adhering to all organizational and department policies, completing required training, meeting all educational requirements while demonstrating your commitment to continuous learning and providing the legendary patient care The Christ Hospital Health Network is known for over the last 130 years.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit specific certifications may be required.

Emergency Department Main: The Emergency Department Christ Hospital's Main Campus is a 44-bed unit, including five Express Care treatment areas, provides high-acuity emergency care to an average of 156 patients each day. Specializing in complex medical and adult cardiac emergencies, the department cares for critically ill patients with conditions including STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and other time-sensitive emergencies.

The ED is staffed by an experienced, all-RN nursing team alongside board-certified emergency medicine physicians, physician assistants, social workers, and other multidisciplinary specialists. As part of a Magnet-designated organization, the department is committed to nursing excellence, evidence-based practice, and exceptional patient care. The Christ Hospital Emergency Department has earned the prestigious ENA Lantern Award, recognizing excellence in emergency nursing practice, leadership, education, advocacy, and patient care. The department operates in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires exceptional clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to respond rapidly to complex patient needs.

• Assessment - You'll deliver comprehensive care by assessing the patient's physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs utilizing The Christ Hospital Health Network Professional Practice Model - all while continuing to collaborate with your healthcare team
• Diagnosis & Planning - Working closely with the patient and family, you'll create personalized care plans that prioritize patient needs and goals.
• Implementation - You'll be providing evidence-based, best-in-class care by educating patients and families, executing well-planned interventions and utilizing hospital policies and procedures.
• Evaluation - You'll monitor and adjust care based on patient outcomes and evidence-based practices.
• Leadership & Professional Development- Working closely with your Clinical Manager, you will take an active role in driving improvement and achieving better outcomes through the development and evaluation of Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives. You'll be an advocate for High Reliability principles to enhance patient care and operational efficiency while using data to fuel progress. You'll alsodemonstrate your leadership skills by motivating, educating, delegating, and mentoring peers and team members, while managing patient care effectively.
