They typically work on a contract basis to support projects such as mergers, technology rollouts, or organizational restructuring. Their responsibilities include assessing the impact of change, developing communication plans, training employees, and ensuring that changes are adopted smoothly. Temporary consultants bring specialized expertise for a defined period, often filling gaps in internal resources or providing an outside perspective. Their goal is to minimize disruption and help staff adapt efficiently to new ways of working.
