Position Summary

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a skilled Field Operations & Fleet Management Technician to
support our mitigation, reconstruction, and emergency response operations. This field-based role is
critical to maintaining company vehicles and equipment, completing in-house construction and
punch-list work, and responding to emergency stabilization needs such as roof tarping and
board-ups.
This position is designed to reduce subcontracted costs, improve response times, and protect
company assets during emergency losses, serving as a hands-on operational force multiplier across
departments.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Asset Management
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance for company vehicles and trailers
  • Perform minor in-house safety (exits signs, escape route, fire extinguishers)
  • Monitor vehicle condition, mileage, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate with vendors for major repairs while managing cost and downtime
  • Identify opportunities to extend vehicle lifecycles and reduce outsourced maintenance costs
In-House Construction & Punch-List Work
  • Drywall repair, texture matching, priming, and painting
  • inor carpentry (trim, baseboards, doors, cabinetry adjustments)
  • Flooring repairs (LVP plank replacement, transitions, tack strip repairs)
  • Appliance installation (dishwashers, ranges, microwaves, washers/dryers)
  • Completion of job punch-lists to prevent re-work and additional subcontract mobilization
Emergency & Restoration Services
  • Perform emergency roof tarping and board-ups, including multi-story structures using proper safety equipment
  • Temporary weatherproofing to prevent secondary damage
  • Conduct non-engineering roof inspections for storm, fire, and impact losses
  • Photo documentation and measurements for project and insurance files
  • Support mitigation and reconstruction teams during surge or CAT events
  • Safety, Documentation & Team Support
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards, especially for ladder and roof work
  • Maintain clear job documentation and photo records
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and office staff
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials inventory
Qualifications
  • Strong background in construction, facilities maintenance, or restoration
  • Comfortable working at heights and in emergency conditions
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent tasks
  • Restoration or emergency response experience preferred
Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Ladder and fall-protection training
  • Roof safety training
  • IICRC certifications (growth opportunity)
