Job description

Ourisman, Trusted Tradition

Here's to those who think differently. The ones who think that a car dealership's first priority should be the guest. Such a candid idea could only come from Ourisman. Because we're forward thinking, just like the communities we serve. Individuals who won't be constrained by how things "have always been done", but instead strive to do things "how they could be done" and "how they should be done." It is a philosophy we have infused into every fabric of our dealerships, from the bottom up, in every department, and in every Ourisman team member. Changing the way we all think about car buying is just the beginning.

Role Summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership.

More about the role

  • Greet and welcome customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately, providing information or directing callers to the appropriate department.
  • Schedule and manage appointments for sales and service departments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records, to support dealership operations.
  • Provide customers with information about dealership services, promotions, and events, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring they are distributed to the correct departments or individuals.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with promotional materials and refreshments.
  • Work closely with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

What we look for

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve customer inquiries and issues.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance options
  • Short-term and Long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off and holiday leave
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth

Ourisman Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer. We believe in hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive, people-first culture. We are committed to non-discrimination on any protected basis, such as disability and veteran status, or any other basis covered under applicable law.
