Job Title: Buyer/Planner
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Job Description:
• Track/mitigate supply constraints
• Develop and maintain demand supply projection models
• Develop and maintain distribution resources planning models
• Lead cross functional meetings to execute action plans
• Evaluate warehouse nodes supply flow and target stocking levels
• Provide MPS priority mix
• Support EMEA and APAC order fulfillment
• Analyze NPI and sunsetting SKUs and provide timeline model
• Ability to data mine reports
• Investigate inventory problems, find root causes, and deliver solutions with cross-functional departments
• Lead continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
Required Skills
- A Supply Chain planner or Buyer/Planner for minimum of 5 years experience
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Able to model supply projections, and build plans
Preferred Skills
- Experienced with ERP/MRP systems
- Self-starter, comfortable leading cross-regional and cross- functional meetings
- Experience in the medical device industry
Education
- Preferred college degree or equivalent
Required Testing: Excel test and composition
