Key Responsibilities

  • Own integrations into Broadcom Operations Intelligence / Observability (OI) including events, metrics, topology, alarms, and enrichment data.
  • Build and optimize ingestion pipelines across REST APIs, webhooks, connectors, and custom integration scripts.
  • Develop advanced dashboards, service models, correlation rules, and analytic views within Broadcom OI.
  • Implement data normalization, enrichment, and harmonization to ensure consistent event quality and actionable insights.
  • Lead the full SDLC for all OI-related enhancements:
  • requirements → design → development → testing → deployment → support.
  • Engineer automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve signal quality.
  • Collaborate with SMEs from server, network, cloud, NOC, app teams, and automation teams to onboard new services into OI.
  • Manage discovery, onboarding, and metadata alignment across observability tools feeding OI.
  • Administer Linux (RHEL) environments and support containerized deployments (Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Produce high-quality documentation, integration diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background integrating monitoring tools into a central observability/AIOps platform.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformation workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PERL) for automation and integration tasks.

You understand observability at an enterprise scale and enjoy the challenge of stitching diverse data sources into a unified OI experience. You communicate clearly, execute quickly, document thoroughly, and always think several steps ahead.
  • If there's ambiguity, you eliminate it.
  • If there's an issue, you diagnose it.
  • If there's a gap, you fill it.
  • This role needs someone who can build, integrate, and deliver-without supervision.
