Job description

Work Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00AM to 2:30 PM.  
Work schedule: 9/80A
Clearance Type: None
Potential weekend overtime available once proficient.
 
Client is looking for a Microelectronics Technician 2 to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department you'll work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers. This position will serve on-site at the Space Park campus, on the Manhattan Beach, CA side.
Responsibilities:
• Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review.
• Operate MBE system(s).
Basic Qualifications for Microelectronics Technician 2:
• High School diploma
• Able to lift 30-40 pounds
• Computer-literate
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
Preferred Qualifications for Microelectronics Technician 2:
• Semiconductor Wafer handling
• Cleanroom experience.
