Position Title
FT TEMPORARY Instructor - Biology (Fall 2026)
Job Duties
Butler Community College is seeking a full-time temporary biology faculty member to teach a range of biology courses for the Fall 2026 semester. Current teaching responsibilities primarily include face-to-face instruction in Anatomy and Physiology and Pathophysiology, with courses offered in afternoon and evening formats on the El Dorado campus. Additional teaching assignments may include introductory biology, microbiology, and other biology courses based on departmental needs. Faculty may also teach online or at other Butler locations.
Prospective candidates must be skilled in a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, with a demonstrated commitment to student engagement and learning outcomes assessment. The successful candidate will value teaching a diverse community college student population and contributing to a collaborative academic department. Faculty teaching load and related duties are assigned in accordance with the Master Agreement.
