Immediate opening for a Data Entry Specialist in El Cajon, CA who possesses:

  • 1+ year of data entry, administrative support, order processing, or related experience
  • Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems, with Sage100 and Salesforce experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Teams preferred
  • Ability to support a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 2 to 3 months

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support the Customer Service team during peak periods for a life science company. This temporary, onsite role is responsible for entering and managing customer orders in ERP and CRM systems, processing orders from multiple portals, reviewing order details for accuracy, maintaining customer and system data, monitoring order queues, identifying discrepancies, and providing administrative and customer service support as needed. The ideal candidate will have data entry, order processing, or administrative support experience, strong attention to detail, ERP/CRM experience, Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Entering and managing customer orders accurately in ERP and CRM systems
  • Processing orders from multiple portals with strong attention to detail
  • Reviewing orders for completeness, correct pricing, shipping instructions, and special requirements
  • Maintaining accurate customer and system data
  • Monitoring order queues to ensure timely processing
  • Identifying and escalating discrepancies to prevent fulfillment issues
  • Following internal controls and company procedures
  • Providing cross-functional support to Customer Service team members during peak periods
  • Responding to routine customer inquiries by email or phone with professionalism and urgency
  • Partnering with Sales, Operations, and Finance to clarify order details
  • Helping resolve data discrepancies and support on-time, accurate fulfillment
  • Providing sales and administrative support to the Customer Service team

The selected candidate will also possess:
