Job Description

Create and manage SharePoint templates, master pages, workflows, sites, pages, lists, libraries, content types, views and columns using both Visual Studio and browser interface.

Configure advanced SharePoint features such as audience targeting, content types, search, workflow, MySite capabilities, and MS Office integration.

Manage custom code in C# and ASP.NET initiatives for the development of SharePoint templates and Web parts using Visual Studio .NET that can be deployed as SharePoint solution packages.

Create custom site definitions, event receivers, content types, site columns, timer jobs, workflows using Visual Studio.

Experience with installation and configuration of SharePoint 2010 farm following Microsoft best practices and minimum software and hardware requirements, including administration tasks such as configuring portal incoming/outgoing email settings, back-up/restore tasks, configuration of service applications such as Excel Services, Performance Point Services, and Secure Store Service etc.

Experience with SharePoint Designer 2010 to customize master pages, pages, page layouts and create workflows.

Solid understanding and expertise of SharePoint object model and client object model in 2010.

Experience with use of PowerShell to accomplish common administrative tasks such as solution upgrade, backup/restore etc.

Experience with Search Service configuration.

Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, CAML, JQuery, JavaScript, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, LINQ.

Have experience in the use of tools such as SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio .NET, SharePoint Designer, Groove, Office Communications Services, Project Server, Excel Services, and Windows Workflow Foundation

Provide technical expertise during the migration of reusable Web components from the PlumTree Portal to SharePoint Portal

Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements to implement in various governance documents.

Coordinate with OJP security and operations during installation and deployment of hardware and software on the development, test and production environment

Lead SharePoint specific duties to assist in the harnessing of disparate SharePoint 2003/2007 sites into SharePoint 2010 sites. Create custom solutions using webparts, workflows, timer jobs and forms to help improve work process within the organization.

Qualifications

Degree required in Computer Science or related area prefered.

Additional Information

Experience with SQL Server, XML, C#, and ASP.Net
Experience working with virtualized environments within SharePoint, third-party workflow tools, enterprise content management capabilities, and .NET Webpart creation and conversion
Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Configuring and SharePoint 2010 Application Development certification is highly desired
Experience with SQL Servers, Oracle database and Oracle Application Server strongly desired
