Position Goals
• Career and Technical Institute Instructor for Weldingwill report directly to the Workforce Training and Continuing Education Program Supervisor and will deliver high-quality classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction. Instruction is provided using an approved curriculum and industry-relevant training materials to prepare students for entry-level employment as Welders.

Job Description
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved curriculum on a daily basis.
• Develop lesson plans that support student learning outcomes and workforce readiness.
• Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, equipment, and supply inventories.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance tracking.
• Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback on student performance, behavior and participations.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable industry standards, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, and integrate this knowledge into daily instruction.
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior and instructional progress.
• Model professionalism, reliability, and respect to contribute to a positive school culture.
Minimum Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in the field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, complete student evaluations, document student progress and email students and staff.
• Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal communication skills for classroom instruction and student engagement.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Field-related license/certification including, but not limited to, OSHA 10 certification.
• Demonstrated welding proficiency through AWS, ASME, API, or comparable industry, military, or union certification in relevant processes (Submerged Arc, SMAW, GMAW, and/or GTAW) is preferred.
. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• This position requires mobility throughout the campus.
• Dexterity in working with computers is mandatory.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while teaching in a classroom and lab settings.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move Welding -related equipment or training materials up to 50lbs.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools and training equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb and reach when demonstrating various welding techniques or troubleshooting.

Training is located at Camden County Technical School - 343 Berlin Cross Keys Road, Sicklerville, NJ.
