Job description

Job Title: Avionic Technician
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avionic Technician to join our team at our facility in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in avionics repairs and maintenance, including installations, troubleshooting, and wire harness fabrication. You will primarily work on AW139 helicopters.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on avionics systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot avionics components and systems.
  • Fabricate wire harnesses as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in avionics.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation in an FAA repair station.
  • Proficiency with Garmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics.
  • Capability to work with transponders, navcomms, radars, and DMEs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with helicopters, particularly AgustaWestland models, is highly preferred.
  • Possession of an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License with radar endorsement is advantageous.
  • FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a heavy maintenance environment.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility and Completion Center located in Philadelphia, PA. The facility specializes in servicing AgustaWestland helicopters, among other aircraft. Technicians are expected to have their own basic tools and may be required to work overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
