Position Summary
Behavior Implementer - Temporary
Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment
Temporary part time
Positions are available at the Center in Cape Girardeau.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to clients
  • Implement individualized programs for children based on ABA principles
  • Accurately record information on the client's progress throughout the session
  • Complete daily progress notes
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and other professionals
  • Abide by all ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB
  • Maintain professionalism with all staff members, clients, families, caregivers, and community organizations

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willing to complete training to become a Registered Behavior Technician
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active with or without accommodations
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with young children
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
