What You'll Do
As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding financial health, directly contributing to millions in cost savings, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening global operations. You will be instrumental in optimizing purchasing processes and mitigating financial risks. Your day-to-day will involve:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of supplier contracts to identify errors, discrepancies, and recovery opportunities.
  • Provide high-quality audit results and communicate findings effectively to purchasing teams.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including purchasing, finance, technical accounting, and engineering, to review audit outcomes and strategize recovery approaches.
  • Support purchasing in negotiations with suppliers to resolve contract issues and recover overpayments.
  • Manage and drive the timely closure of open audits and the collection of identified overpayments.
  • Monitor and achieve targets for key performance indicators such as contract touch rate, study aging, and cost recoveries.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special studies as requested by leadership.
  • Contribute to the identification and collection of significant annual supplier cost recoveries, targeting at least $4M.
  • Utilize global systems to perform financial analysis and support investigations into pricing errors.
  • Analyze ad-hoc reports to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Interface with various organizational levels to discuss cases and reconcile differences between internal purchasing systems and supplier contracts.

Must-Have Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
