DRS Marlo Coil manufactures durable heat transfer, refrigeration, and air handling equipment serving industrial, commercial, utility, and marine sectors. Our custom-engineered heat transfer solutions are designed to cool, heat, and dehumidify air streams for both process applications and building comfort. Our equipment is proudly installed on most U.S. Navy surface combatant ships and submarines. Additionally, DRS Marlo Coil is strategically positioned for substantial growth in the Industrial and Commercial markets.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget
  • Follow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)
  • Properly use required PPE
  • May participate in LEAN Events, "Six S" activities, action teams etc
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Perform entry-level mechanical assembly functions for multiple heating and cooling coils, which may include: prep, steel cabinets, electrical control boxes, cable, minimal wiring assemblies, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings, within Production
  • Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation screws, washers, nuts and have basic understanding of build documentation
  • Perform pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools
  • Basic electronic troubleshooting
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)
  • Must be able to access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc) and be able to wire prep

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
