ABOUT THE ROLE
UA Brands is seeking a Backend Web Developer II to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, backend services, and APIs that power our ecommerce and business operations. This role is ideal for an experienced C#/.NET developer who enjoys building high-performance applications, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating across teams.
You'll primarily focus on backend development while partnering with frontend developers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with modern development practices, including AI-assisted coding tools, system design, testing, and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Development
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend web applications using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs, business services, and system integrations.
  • Write clean, scalable, maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to support React-based user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and technical quality.

Software Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Ensure applications meet security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
  • Support deployment validation and production monitoring activities.

Software Design & Architecture
  • Participate in system design and software architecture discussions.
  • Recommend technical solutions that improve application performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and contribute to software development roadmaps.
