Job description

CRS is a Phoenix-based company that helps insured families recover after unexpected home damage (fire, water, storm, earthquake, etc.) by providing temporary housing and relocation support. Working closely with insurance carriers,CRS manages everything from emergency hotel stays to long term housing, furniture, and necessities. In addition to housing placement services, we also streamline the repair and restoration process for damaged homes by tapping into our national network of general contractors.Since 1989, the company has built a reputation for reliability and world class, compassionate customer care powered by a team of professionals dedicated to supporting people during critical moments. Our goal is to make a difficult situation easier by coordinating housing solutions that fit the policyholder's needs while also working within the guidelines of their insurance coverage.

About the Role

We're seeking a Residence Specialistto apply a consultative sales approach to successfully assist policyholders in finding the right temporary home during a difficult time. TheResidence Specialist is focused on working closely with insurance claims adjusters, landlords and property management companies to hunt down and negotiate contracts to secure the best available properties for policyholders needing to move in quickly during claims, often under very tight deadlines and constraints.Residence Specialistsmanage multiple claims at a time, triaging and using excellent time management skills to process those claims while providing addon services and supplemental options to the policyholder, boosting satisfaction during their temporary housing stay. Successfully closing a claim at this stage involves the policyholder agreeing to tour the property and securing a verbal acceptance of the property.

  • Compensation: $50,000/yr.plusuncapped commission (paid monthly)
  • Average Income:$95,000/yr - $105,000/yr (base + commission)
  • Training:approximately 90 days,Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (in-office).Due to the nature of the training, we ask you do not request PTO during the training period.
  • Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Hybrid: (eligible after 3 month training period, based on consistent performance)2 days in office, 3 days remote per week
  • Computer and phone equipment will be provided. You must have reliable high-speed internet service and a suitable workspace at your residence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to navigate discovery questions, overcome objections and close agreements with policyholders
  • Use phone, email and text to communicate with policyholders, landlords and claims adjustersin a professional, clear, accurate manner in a timely fashion
  • Use various tools to research all possible properties available to the policyholder efficiently to facilitate quick move-in
  • Base property search according to guidelines set by the claims adjuster and policyholder (active listening and attention to detail)
  • Use negotiation and sales skills to get landlords to agree to favorable terms for both the claims adjuster and policyholder
  • Communicate benefits of selected property to the policyholder with the goal of stress-free, speedy move-in
  • Verify and complete short-term lease agreement and get claims adjuster approval
  • Record accurate, concise and professional notes in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Be able to compile, share, and explain performance reports to leadership

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two plus years of relatable sales experience (consultative sales)
  • High level of ability multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong empathy and compassion to help policyholders during high-stress situations
  • Experience using CRMs
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite

Strong Candidates Will Possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or Business/Sales curriculum experience
  • Five plus years of relatable sales experience (consultative sales)
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • Relatable experience (real estate, mortgage, property management)
