Job description

Training Representative (SCTR) - Temporary Assignment - Saint-Hubert Airport (YHU)

Are you ready to lead, train, and elevate? Do you thrive in tackling challenges head-on, and have a knack for inspiring teams? If so, GardaWorld is on the hunt for a Screening Contractor Training Representative (SCTR).

As an SCTR, you'll be responsible for delivering training following company guidelines. This position also includes coaching, mentoring, and assisting in re-certification.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Delivers on-the-job training (OJT), refresher courses, practical exams and other security and customer service training
  • Monitors tests and assessments of screening employees, including supervising practical skills development sessions
  • Implements training for new employees, and supports the new hire orientation program
  • Delivers performance improvement program training
  • Provides checkpoint and oversight support, as needed, and provides recommendations on certification maintenance
  • Provides coaching, correction, and overall feedback to Screening Officers. Intervenes immediately if a part of a screening process was not completed, or if critical processes were performed incorrectly 
  • Demonstrates a positive partnership with our client to support training programs
     

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Currently certified as a Pre-Board Screening Officer for a minimum of 12 months, with advanced qualifications, with no PERs
  • Must meet the minimum training standards as per the client's expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment
