Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile WLAN/LAN Engineer to join a network team. The role provides expertise across various network technologies to ensure seamless operations and advanced-level network services for WLAN and LAN infrastructure. This position offers support and guidance for network design and installation projects using standard technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Campus WLAN/LAN networks.
  • Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, and Catalyst 9k switches.
  • Configure and manage Aruba Central, Mobility Gateways, Access Points, and ClearPass.
  • Collaborate on network upgrades, projects, and migrations.
  • Ensure network security, availability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call support for critical network issues.

Required Qualifications

Education: An undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience is required.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in LAN/WAN engineering is necessary.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, and Catalyst 9k switches.
  • Proficiency with HPE Aruba Wireless Mobility Infrastructure and ClearPass.
  • Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
