We are looking for motivated individuals who have mechanical experience or a strong mechanical background and are interested in developing a career in aircraft maintenance.

Position Overview

Certified Aviation Services LLC is hiring 20 Aircraft Mechanic Apprentices to join our Birmingham team. This is an opportunity for individuals with mechanical experience to learn the aircraft maintenance trade and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced aviation maintenance professionals.

You do not need to already be an A&P mechanic to apply. Candidates with experience working on automobiles, trucks, heavy equipment, machinery, industrial equipment, or other mechanical systems are encouraged to apply.

  • Some previous mechanical experience or hands-on mechanical skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with mechanical systems.
  • Basic knowledge and proper use of hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Strong interest in learning how to inspect, maintain, repair, and service aircraft.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced aircraft maintenance personnel.
