Can a 40 year old become a temporary air traffic controller?

Yes, a 40-year-old can become a temporary air traffic controller if they meet the required qualifications, which typically include a high school diploma or equivalent, passing medical and background checks, and completing specialized training. Age is generally not a barrier as long as the candidate can meet the physical and cognitive demands of the role.

Can you work as a temporary air traffic controller part time?

Temporary air traffic controllers typically work full-time shifts due to the demanding nature of the job and the need for continuous coverage at airports. Part-time positions are uncommon because safety and operational requirements require consistent staffing and availability.
