Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments within the City of Calgary.
  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and handling communications.
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry to ensure smooth office workflows.
  • Maintain and organize office supplies, ensuring resources are available as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
Requirements:
  • Over 2 years of proven experience in administrative or office support roles, preferably within a public sector or government environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant office software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
