ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Stuart, Florida.

Registered Nurse - MICU

Assignment Duration

This position is expected to last for 13 weeks.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the MICU will provide critical care to patients facing life-threatening conditions. This role involves managing complex medical needs and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure.
  • Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as per protocol.
  • Perform interpretation of dysrhythmias and manage patients on BiPAP/CPAP.
  • Provide care to ventilated patients including suctioning and arterial line management.
  • Conduct nursing assessments and document findings using the EPIC charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross certifications in BLS and ACLS at the time of submission.
  • NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
  • EPIC charting experience is required.
  • All travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative drug screen (including nicotine) is required.
