Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Slidell, LA Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,572 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 9/8/2026

TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified CVOR RN in Slidell, Louisiana, 70458!

About the Position
Specialty: RN โ€“ CVOR
Experience: 2+ years of recent CVOR or Cardiac Surgery experience
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS โ€“ AHA
Must-Have: Proficiency in circulating cardiac surgical procedures; scrub experience preferred


Description: The CVOR RN provides perioperative care during cardiovascular surgeries, working closely with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures. Responsibilities include patient preparation, intraoperative assistance, and post-op support. Must be highly skilled in sterile technique, instrumentation, and emergency response. Onboarding typically takes 2โ€“4 weeks depending on credentialing.
