ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Toledo, Ohio.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15); Weekend shifts required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will possess Level I or II Trauma experience and be adept at managing a variety of patient conditions across different age groups from infants to geriatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency care and assessments for patients in the ER.
  • Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy.
  • Carry out proper cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
  • Perform trauma assessments and interventions, including procedural sedation.
  • Engage in collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Float between facilities as necessary within the service line.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an emergency department.
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC.
  • Level I or II Trauma experience is required; Pediatric Emergency Department experience preferred.
  • Experience in a Magnet and teaching hospital setting is preferred.
  • Must possess valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio or have a pending OH license and valid MI license.
