What is the difference between Temporary Agency Rn vs Travel Nurse?
| Aspect | Temporary Agency Rn | Travel Nurse |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Registered Nurse license, CPR certification | Registered Nurse license, CPR certification |
| Work Environment | Short-term assignments at various healthcare facilities | Temporary assignments in different locations, often across states |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Staffing agencies, healthcare facilities | Travel staffing agencies, hospitals, clinics |
| Search & Comparison Intent | Looking for short-term nursing jobs through agencies | Seeking travel nursing opportunities across locations |
Both roles require RN licensure and CPR certification, but Temporary Agency Rns typically work short-term assignments locally or regionally through staffing agencies. Travel Nurses, on the other hand, take temporary positions in different states or countries, often with higher pay and benefits. Understanding these differences helps nurses choose the right path based on their career goals and preferred work environment.
