Job description

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join a team developing the next-generation High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon systems for national defense. These systems are designed to be rugged, compact, and capable of thriving in the most challenging environments. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in assembling precision components that power cutting-edge laser technology.

Work Environment: This position is based in Longmont, CO within a dynamic manufacturing environment

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools based on engineering prints, schematics, and BOMs
  • Support soldering and assembly tasks for advanced laser systems
  • Assist in designing and building test fixtures for HEL components
  • Contribute to the development of systems that will define the future of directed energy weapons

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment

Nice-To-Have:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
