Position SummaryAs a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving facility systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and proactive when it comes to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Schedule, prioritize, and complete facility repairs and maintenance projects.
Document completed repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including:- Plumbing
Monitor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
Complete preventative maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure.
Perform general building upkeep, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
Repair office furniture, replace lighting fixtures and bulbs, and maintain common areas.
Assist with exterior facility maintenance, including snow and ice removal during winter months.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
Participate in company safety programs and initiatives.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Lead and other departments to support facility operations.
Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and operational standards.
General knowledge of:- Building maintenance
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Dedication to workplace safety and quality standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Overtime Available As Needed
Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and overall skill set.
