Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health for our client in Glendale, CA 91206. This is a temporary 8 weeks contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!
Position Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health
Location: Glendale, CA 91206
Duration: 8 Weeks
Work Schedule: NIghts (4X12) 07:00PM - 07:00AM

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Monitor patients for changes in mental status, mood, behavior, and overall functioning.
  • Administer prescribed medications, including psychotropic medications, and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
  • Perform suicide risk assessments and maintain patient safety through appropriate interventions and observation protocols.
  • Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to manage aggressive, agitated, or emotionally distressed patients.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  • Facilitate therapeutic communication and establish rapport with patients and their families.
  • Lead or participate in psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
