The team needs an individual skilled in both software development and the development of AI algorithms and technology. Note: this is not about leveraging open-source models to accelerate software development tasks, but rather creating novel techniques and approaches for both discriminative and generative AI tasks. The Software Developer will be joining a team who tackles problems at the intersection of cybersecurity and the physical world. Job Description:
The successful candidate will be experienced in both software development and the development of AI systems. The job entails the integration of AI software components into prototypes and integrated systems, many of which have real-time or near-real-time processing requirements. This necessitates a detailed understanding of processing speeds in a data pipeline, control of latencies, management of overflow and underflow, and the ability to creatively leverage heterogeneous processing options across different types of hardware to accelerate computations. Familiarity with AI model distillation techniques, or other methods for edge AI processing, would be very helpful.
