Position Summary & Essential Duties

Temple College is seeking qualified industry professionals to serve as Adjunct Industrial Trainers supporting Construction Technology Workforce Programs under the TRUE Grant initiative. This position delivers classroom and hands-on instruction in Construction Management, Electrical, Plumbing, and/or HVAC systems. This program is grant-funded.
Qualifications (Required and Preferred)
Associates degree or Industry credential/license in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
Hands-on technical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher
Teaching or training experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction & Training Delivery
โ€ข Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in the assigned subject area
โ€ข Utilize industry-based curriculum (NCCER or equivalent)
โ€ข Demonstrate proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
โ€ข Maintain lesson plans and instructional materials
Student Support & Success
โ€ข Provide coaching and support to students
โ€ข Monitor progress and provide feedback
โ€ข Support retention and completion
โ€ข Reinforce professionalism and safety practices
Program Collaboration
โ€ข Collaborate with Program Lead and instructors
โ€ข Participate in curriculum updates and meetings
โ€ข Assist with outreach and recruitment
