Job description

Reporting to the Transportation Team Leader, you will assign shipments to carriers using a transportation management system supporting the temperature controlled business. You will monitor appointments, pickups, deliveries, and trailer pools while supporting carrier engagement, issue resolution, and communication with internal and external partners. You will analyze performance metrics, identify service gaps, collaborate across teams to resolve issues, and recommend continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen transportation execution.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Assign and tender less-than-truckload and truckload shipments to the carrier base using Oracle Transportation Management.

  • Monitor shipments and support customer service by helping ensure on-time delivery to customers.

  • Engage with carrier partners and internal stakeholders to maintain and improve service performance.

  • Support shipping locations with carrier communication, trailer pool coordination, rush shipment arrangements, and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with multiple teams and sites through Microsoft Teams, phone calls, and in-person meetings to gather feedback and drive resolution.

  • Analyze current shipping processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation efforts.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree or three or more years of applicable experience.

  • Understanding of transportation and business concepts.

  • Problem-solving skills with clear, effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of interpreting data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in the Omaha office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation

Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
