Are you enthusiastic about hospitality, people, and beautiful places? By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three! As a Vending Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly.

Job Summary:

This role involves the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles while ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of vending machines along a designated route. Responsibilities include restocking vending machines, recording transactions, and reporting any issues to the Vending Manager. Additionally, the position requires providing professional service to park visitors and employees.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Early April 2026 to Mid November 2026
Pay: $18.00/hourly
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
  • The safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper working order of vending machines and company vehicle for specific route assigned. Report problems to the Vending Manager
  • Place product in vending machine as warranted
  • Collect receipts from vending machines where product is added, record those transactions and turn receipts into Mammoth cashiers office
  • Restock vending truck from warehouse when product is depleted, record transactions on warehouse issue sheet and help clean and organize warehouse
  • Provide professional and courteous service to Park visitors and employees

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Basic Accounting skills
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Ability to manage and control inventory
  • General knowledge of Yellowstone Park

Physical Requirements include:

  • DOT physical and certification required
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting and reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 5 hours per shift
  • Requires occasional climbing, crawling and squatting/kneeling. Could total up to two and one half hours per day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Must be able to push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
