Job description

New Heme/Onc locum need in Eureka, CA-Outpatient clinic & Call-CA license required-Temp priv-$4,000 daily rate
LOCUM- Hematology Oncology locum need in Eureka, CA
$4,000 daily rate-$500 Hr
Outpatient clinic and Inpatient call coverage 1:3 weeks
EMR-Epic
Avg 12-15 ppd
Level 3 trauma
60 day credentialing wait
Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day (there is a 1 hour lunch)
OT applies after 8 hours per day 
All OT should be preapproved by your clinic manager (Marci D). Please seek preapproval via email with Marci. If you have any questions, please escalate to the PSJH admin team
         - We want to note, we would look at a read study rate (regular hourly rate) to replace overtime but only a max of two hours could be charged unless reason is given why workload is increasing. Given the workload, providers should be able to get all work done in their 8 hour day but we would accommodate this read study rate in replacement of OT. If questions on this, please ask in AR comments. 
SCHEDULE:

Looking for a full time provider (5 shifts a week, 4 weeks per month). 
Call will be 1 week out of every 3 typically. Here is how that weeks schedule will be set up: 
Providers will work regular hours in the clinic and are on call in the evening. It should be billed as regular hours during the day and then night call on weekdays. The weekends are 24hr call. NOTE: physician is expected to respond by phone ONLY and would not be "called back" onsite after hours or on the weekend. No call back should apply! 
Patients are scheduled from 9-12 and 1-430 most days, so there will be a 1 hour lunch.

Prefer clean file! We may be able to start candidate sooner if file can be worked on quickly. NOTE: timeline on privileging does not begin until the RFA/application are turned in! 
NOTE PROVIDER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START UNTIL MARCH IF THEY DO NOT HAVE A CLEAN FILE. FEB START IS ONLY POSSIBLE IF CLEAN FILE. 
o    All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
o    Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
o    Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.  
Must have an active CA license. 
Oncology clinic is attached to chemo treatment center and hospital 
Provider must have 2 years of recent inpatient activity to qualify for privileges. 
COC accredited program managing approx. 500 analytic cases each year.
