POSITION DESCRIPTION

As part of the Sales Center team, the Marketing Coordinator assists in all aspects of Marketing Department operations, including support, development and distribution of Sales and Marketing materials. Daily activities include shipping and receiving of advertising and print materials, coordination of materials for customer events, and assisting Sales and Marketing staff to make Coca-Cola the premier beverage partner in the Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country (CCBCHC) markets.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage receiving, shipping and storage of marketing and point of sale (POS) materials.
  • Inventory of all materials and supplies inside of marketing storage areas.
  • Receiving, inventory, redistribution and shipping of time sensitive marketing materials for all national and local activations.
  • Assist with production of promotional displays and dealer loaders.
  • Develop, coordinate and produce advertising materials for CCBCHC.
  • Layout, production, finishing and packaging of custom advertising materials.
  • Coordination and communication of shipment and delivery of finished materials.
  • Prepare and maintain files and information for review and presentation.
  • Work with sales personnel to coordinate materials for events and accounts.
  • Manage the machinery and materials used by CCBCHC to produce custom advertising materials.
  • Day to day upkeep and light maintenance of marketing equipment.
  • Inventory and storage of raw materials for custom advertising materials.
  • Assist in event, media and sampling preparation and execution across Company territories.
  • Provides instructions for media, event and sampling activation, internally & externally.
  • Work with other team members to coordinate small-scale event activation.
  • Responsible for the physical condition of all marketing storage areas.
  • Cleanliness & organization of marketing storage areas.
  • Inventory of all materials and supplies inside of marketing storage areas.
  • Maintenance of garbage, recycling, etc. inside of marketing storage areas.


Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma required.
  • General work experience preferred.


JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Detail-oriented with ability to plan and carry out job tasks independently.
  • Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt efficiently to change.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with event planning and management.
  • Marketing background that incorporates excellent communication skills.
  • General graphic design skills and a basic knowledge of marketing program planning and execution.
  • Ability to finish POS, including trimming, vinyl application, and shaping.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data, especially pricing and materials information.
  • Effectively interface with all levels of employees and management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image.
  • Demonstrate reliability and dependability through regular attendance, availability to staff and management, and prompt and consistent follow-through.
  • Safety & Security - Promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
  • Honesty, Integrity, Trust & Respect - Must be seen as truthful and credible and exhibit respectful behavior in all actions representing the company.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50-lbs, handle the loading & unloading of marketing and POS materials, as well as distribution of product for marketing functions.
  • Must be willing to work all hours as needed to complete the job, including as necessary weekends and evenings.
  • Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time.
  • Work involves walking, talking and hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when using computer terminal.
