Job description

Position Summary:

Full-time temporary veterinarian faculty. Primary responsibility includes teaching of college-level courses and/or labs in the qualified discipline, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development.The position requires clinical and surgical veterinary skills including at a minimum the ability to perform canine and feline dental extractions, spays/castrations, and radiographic interpretation. Must also be a licensed veterinarian to satisfy the veterinary technology program accreditation requirement for one full-time equivalent veterinarian. The position will be required to act as attending program veterinarian on the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).

All Campuses (Brandon Campus, MacDill A.F.B. center, Plant City campus, SouthShore campus and Ybor City campus.

Pay Rate:

Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union.

  • Grade 1: Earned Doctor in major field $57,255.05
