Job Title: Class A CDL Driver-End Dump Trailer (Full-Time / Temporary Assignment)

Location: Lake Adger, NC (housing and daily per diem included)
Compensation: $26-$35 (based on skills and experience) (hourly, non-exempt)

Position Overview

We are hiring Class A CDL drivers to operate End Dump Trailers for a full-time temporary assignment to support the revival of Lake Adger following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. It’s more than a driving job - it’s an opportunity to help the Polk County community rebuild the Green River and return it to its natural beauty.

This role requires working 12 hours per day, 7 days a week to include holidays.  

NOTE: You will be required to successfully pass a road test administered by Ceres, within two days of your arrival at the project location.

What you will do

You will be hauling and dumping various types of material to include sand, rip rap, gravel, vegetative debris and much from the lake to off road FDS sites. You must be able to drive on varying road conditions and surfaces, to include county and state roads that are curvy and hilly. This may also include driving in residential areas. You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; maintain logs and records accurately.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A, with clean driving record, current medical card and able to pass DOT clearance (physical and drug/alcohol screening).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving an End Dump Trailer, both on and off road.
  • Ability to safely back up the trailer to designated dump site.
  • Ability to follow site safety rules and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction or debris management
