**What You Will Do:**
* Develop advanced automation frameworks to accelerate testing and improve coverage across various platforms.
* Implement and enforce test practices, standards, and processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
* Troubleshoot test issues, meticulously record test results, and track/prioritize defects to resolution.
* Establish fact-based measures for test efficiency, effectiveness, and product readiness.
* Estimate, coordinate, and direct testing efforts for multiple complex products and projects.
* Conduct comprehensive software quality assurance, including manual test case execution, defect tracking, test plan/test case creation, and requirements analysis.
* Act as an advocate and leader for test automation throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
* Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies with a strong DevOps philosophy.
* Set up and maintain robust test environments, adapting to varying product needs.
* Define and communicate automation strategies and processes for web services, APIs, middleware, and user interfaces.
* Evaluate and implement industry-standard software test automation tools and tooling standards.
* Build automation frameworks designed for reusability and reduced effort.
* Optimize automation cycle execution run times and minimize manual analysis of results.
* Ensure automation remains current, flexible, and seamlessly integrated within continuous integration/deployment frameworks.
* Develop methods and procedures for creating automated test data and data refresh capabilities.
* Participate in code reviews and collaborate with software engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage based on code changes.
* Assist developers with robust unit, component, commit, build and deploy, and CI/CD test automation.
* Recommend and implement automated dynamic reports and metrics to measure automation efficiency and quality, driving continuous improvements.
* Interact with various levels of individual contributors and management to educate and influence best practices.
* Collaborate with automation experts to plan, design, manage, report, and prioritize software test automation solutions.
* Maintain tools essential for automation development, including source control, test management, and release systems.
* Influence, develop, and execute QA process and testing best practices.
* Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) methodologies.
* Understand the value proposition and return on investment (ROI) of various tools and technologies.
* Continuously streamline CI/CD pipelines and processes to decrease delivery lead time.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
* 6+ years of hands-on experience in the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
* Prior technical lead experience, including mentoring, code review, and design support.
* Hands-on coding experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
* Experience with Agile Development Practices.
* Good understanding of exploratory testing practices.
* Proficiency with standard industry tools for logging bugs and managing test cases.
* Hands-on experience with web services virtualization.
* Demonstrated ability to perform code reviews effectively.
* Experience with scoping, sizing, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects, including risk-based testing assessment and stakeholder communication.
* Proven ability to lead multiple projects and releases, balancing time and effort for successful delivery.
* Proven experience as a leader/trainer within a complex QA organization, emphasizing a risk-based approach to software testing.
* Proven experience driving innovative testing solutions within a complex, enterprise platform.
* Strong understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
* Understanding of CI/CD practices and lean methodologies.
