Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and support SQL-based batch jobs, primarily utilizing SSIS packages.
* Build and maintain robust ETL and data movement pipelines.
* Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure peak performance and reliability.
* Provide comprehensive support for batch execution, including monitoring and issue resolution.
* Conduct thorough root cause analysis for data discrepancies or job failures.
* Document SSIS packages, batch logic, and data flows to ensure clarity and maintainability.
* Collaborate effectively with quality assurance teams, production support, and full-time engineering staff.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with SSIS package development and support.
* Extensive SQL Server expertise, including:
* Crafting complex queries.
* Developing and optimizing stored procedures.
* Performance tuning.
* Proven experience building and supporting SQL-based batch jobs.
* Working knowledge of .NET / C# for backend or batch workflows.
* Experience supporting scheduled/automated jobs in production environments.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for batch failures and data issues.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with job schedulers (e.g., SQL Agent, ControlM, Autosys).
