Job description

Job Title: Material Handler

Shift: 1st
Payrate: 18.50-20.00

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and preparing materials for production and shipping. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments
  • Move raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
  • Stage materials for production and shipping
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Label, package, and prepare materials for shipment
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Assist other departments as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus
  • Basic math and record-keeping skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
