Qualifications

Mechanical and Electrical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with experience in forklift repair and maintenance or a related field.

Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to use diagnostic tools, read schematics, and identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

Valid Drivers License: Clean driving record and ability to safely operate forklifts and other equipment.

Technical Aptitude: Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Outlook, OEM Portal Navigation), Operate a Tablet and cell phone and the ability to log maintenance activities and request parts.

Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy parts, work in various positions, and perform tasks in a hands-on environment.

Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts (Any makes/models), including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluids, inspecting brakes, and ensuring equipment meets safety standards.

Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and operations teams to prioritize repairs and minimize disruptions.

Time Management: Utilize time management systems to track billable hours and complete jobs efficiently and professionally.

Independent Work: Ability to manage workloads independently while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Technical Knowledge and Training: Stay updated with the latest forklift technology, tools, and best practices through ongoing training and development.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, safety inspections, and time logs.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 100+ lbs), work in various physical positions, and perform tasks in different environments (outdoors, extreme temperatures, near mechanical parts).

Company Vehicle and Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining the service van, on-board inventory, and proper submission of required paperwork.
