Overview

This position is a part-time seasonal position. The Event Server is responsible for providing prompt and efficient service while abiding by the itinerary set forth by the client, Event Captain, Event Manager, and Chef. Candidates must also possess ability to handle a variety of tasks/requests at one time, and the ability to deal with a diverse set of individuals.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities and Duties;)

  • Welcome and greet guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit
  • Accurately answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings, including preparation methods
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure room setup, food and beverage service, and timelines align with Banquet Event Orders
  • Complete all required side work
  • Maintain cleanliness of service stations and meeting rooms
  • Assist fellow servers, bartenders, and bus staff as needed, including clearing and resetting tables
  • Follow safe and sanitary food handling procedures at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays
  • Must either possess ServSafe certification or obtain it upon hire
  • Prior server experience is helpful but not required
