Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Vaccination Initiative as an Immunization Nurse Float. In this role, you will administer a variety of vaccines—including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended immunizations—in a retail healthcare setting.

This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys working directly with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to promoting public health through safe and effective immunization practices.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccines including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended immunizations following established clinical guidelines.
  • Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and immunization records.
  • Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care.
  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, utilizing provided PPE.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Adapt to changing clinic schedules, patient volumes, and operational needs.
  • Maintain compliance with state nursing regulations and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
  • Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Candidate must be flexible with work schedules and assignments.
  • High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience administering high-volume immunization clinics.
