What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), your day will be filled with meaningful interactions and the chance to make a lasting impact on residents' lives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct Care: Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders, and take full responsibility for resident care.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with physicians, supervisors, and families to ensure the best care for residents.
  • Assessment & Supervision: Complete resident assessments and supervise LPNs in gathering important data.
  • Workforce Coordination: Partner with the Director of Nursing to manage special care needs, resident transfers, and staffing workload.
  • Admissions & Family Involvement: Plan for resident admissions, involving families in the care process.
  • Comfort & Support: Provide emotional and physical comfort to residents, offering families the support they need.
  • Leadership: Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), supporting their development and ensuring top-quality care.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Graduate of a state-approved nursing program
  • Current Iowa RN license
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Excellent attendance and reliability
