The Warehouse Associate processes customer orders and handles boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment. This role involves frequent manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while performing tasks that require standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
- Lift, carry, move, and arrange boxes containing files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform frequent physical activities including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and twisting during the entire shift.
- Pack boxes securely and neatly to ensure safe handling, storage, and transport.
- Use pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely within the warehouse.
- Assist with warehouse inventory activities, including counting, organizing, and tracking stock.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by following all safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all operational procedures and instructions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality of work.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and timelines.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
