Job description

Job Title: Senior IT Auditor & IAM Compliance Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Cyber Security Controls Assessor to lead the execution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) compliance testing. In this role, you will focus on the rigorous assessment of IT General Controls (ITGCs) in alignment with NIST and COBIT principles. You will act as a primary technical auditor, partnering closely with IT and Security teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure audit readiness. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical configurations into clear, audit-ready narratives while driving the remediation of identified control gaps.
Key Responsibilities
• Compliance Testing Leadership: Drive the end-to-end planning and execution of IAM compliance testing, including walkthroughs, design validation, and detailed execution.
• Audit Documentation: Conduct complex control walkthroughs with system owners. Develop and maintain audit-ready narratives, test plans, and workpapers that align with strict Internal Audit standards.
• Deficiency & Remediation: Identify IT control deficiencies, provide expert remediation guidance, and track corrective actions through to closure.
• Data Analysis: Leverage advanced Excel techniques (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) to perform data profiling and validation to support testing conclusions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for external auditors and internal system owners to ensure timely, complete evidence collection and the resolution of control gaps.
• Framework Alignment: Ensure all testing activities maintain alignment with enterprise risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: * Minimum of 5 years in IT Audit, IT Compliance, or Cyber Security Controls Assessment.
• Hands-on experience with ITGCs and NIST-aligned testing.
• Technical Mastery:
• Expert-level Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies and control concepts.
• Certifications: Professional credentials such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are highly preferred.
• Skills: Confident communicator capable of engaging both technical engineers and non-technical leadership.
Preferred Experience
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience utilizing GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools and platforms.
