Power Temp Systems, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Houston operations. This hybrid administrative role will provide backup support to both purchasing and production order functions while assisting with day to day office operations. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced industrial environment and brings strong organizational skills, purchasing coordination experience, and ERP system knowledge.

What You Will Do- Provide administrative support for purchasing and production order activities
- Assist with expediting materials, tracking orders, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers
- Support purchasing functions including data entry, order updates, and supplier communication
- Assist with production order processing and scheduling coordination
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems and internal databases
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Assist with quotes, service contracts, and operational documentation
- Retrieve, process, and distribute mail and office correspondence
- Assist with accounting related tasks as needed
- Support project coordination and other office functions as assigned
- Work closely with multiple departments to help maintain smooth day to day operations
What We Are Looking For- Prior administrative experience in an industrial, manufacturing, purchasing, or operations environment preferred
- Purchasing, procurement, expeditor, or production coordination experience strongly preferred
- Experience working within ERP systems preferred (P21 experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
