Human Resources Administration at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Benefits Assistant (Temp).

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Temporary Benefits Assistant provides administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources Administration-Benefits Department. The Benefits Assistant (Temp) will work closely with the Benefits team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and University policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general inquiries related to benefits eligibility, enrollment, and plan information.
  • Assists with Benefits Orientation and annual open enrollment activities.
  • Assist with FMLA and ADA eligibility and processing.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, and HR partners.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support HR Operations.
