Monday Night Ventures is an award-winning craft brewery based out of Atlanta, with a distribution footprint across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina. We currently operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA, a brewpub in Birmingham, AL a taproom in Nashville, TN, a taproom in Charlotte, NC, and a taproom in Knoxville, TN.

Monday Night Brewing is seeking a full-time Field Sales Representative for our off-premise territory across Georgia, with some travel to AL, TN and NC (as needed) to join our tight knit, growing team. We pride ourselves on living out our core values and fulfilling our purpose: deepening relationships over some of the best beer in the country. This is a full-time position based in Atlanta, GA, starting immediately.

Reports To:

  • Sr. Manager Off-Premise and Chain Development

High-Level Goals:

  • Grow sales by building awareness around the quality and intentionality around the Monday Night Ventures brand
  • Be an expert resource on Monday Night Ventures for retailers
  • Build strong relationships with our wholesaler partners, ensuring they are informed and educated around all things Monday Night Ventures

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and Brand Awareness
    • Know and understand the alcohol market on a national, regional and local level
    • Attend formal (and informal) meetings and tastings with production team leaders to learn about the Monday Night Ventures portfolio, quality standards, processes, and innovations
    • Stay up to date on the Monday Night Ventures events, marketing campaigns and releases by keeping in contact with our taproom and marketing departments
  • Retailer Management
    • Build strong relationships with retailers to increase sales and awareness of Monday Night Ventures and educate them about both the portfolio, and our purpose.
    • Showcase the Monday Night Ventures facilities by inviting retailers to visit and ensure they have a great experience
    • Regularly visit current and prospective retailers each week
    • Conduct staff training at retailers regularly to ensure staff is knowledgeable and equipped to sell Monday Night Ventures.
    • Conduct regular quality audits in accounts that sell Monday Night products to ensure our product is fresh, rotated properly (in date order), stored appropriately, and our draft lines are cleaned regularly
    • Log all retailer visits and interactions in KARMA
  • Reporting to Management
    • Maintain and update our CRM tool daily
    • Attend bi-weekly sales meeting prepared to receive and give feedback on your assigned territory
    • Track monthly expenses and operate within your allotted budget
    • Provide weekly sales flash report on your assigned territory to include happenings, wins, losses and any other points of interest
  • Market Engagements
    • Set up, manage and execute quality Monday Night Ventures promotions, including but not limited to beer dinners, festivals, tastings, and features, as needed
    • Work with marketing and production teams to ensure our market engagements deliver on our brand standards, beer quality, and grow our brand affinity and awareness
    • Market territory spans from West Atlanta to Northwest Atlanta metro
  • Wholesaler Management
    • Educate our wholesalers on the Monday Night Ventures portfolio, brand standards, and quality standards
    • Keep our wholesalers informed and up to date on Monday Night's current offerings, new releases and marketing campaigns
    • Send clear and concise recaps of any market work that requires follow up such as (but not limited to):
      • Customer commitments
      • Upcoming events and/or features
      • Point of Sale needs and requests
      • Quality issues or concerns
    • Ensure our wholesalers have all tools and resources needed to execute to our brand standards. This includes but is not limited to, tap handles, tap magnets, sell sheets, graphics, and other point of sale items
    • Work with sales management and analyst to ensure our wholesalers maintain appropriate inventory levels in accordance to Monday Night's quality standards
    • Conduct, at minimum, quarterly quality audits at assigned wholesalers to ensure Monday Night's inventory is fresh, rotated properly (in date order), and stored in accordance with Monday Night's quality standards

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based upon experience
  • Bonus structure - Potential of $12k annually
  • Range $48,000 - $55,000 salary

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21+
  • 2 or more years sales and/or market experience
  • Dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills with a sales and hospitality mindset
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible working schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic math skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to drive an automobile.
  • Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 40 pounds.

  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures.
