Description:

Medical Facility is in need of a Endovascular Surgery Tech. This is a temp to perm role. ALL SHIFTS


Endovascular Surgery Technologist works in operating rooms, catheterization labs, or interventional radiology suites. They support surgeons and specialists performing procedures to treat vascular diseases such as aneurysms, blockages, and blood clots.

These procedures often use image-guided techniques like Fluoroscopy and Angiography.


Key Responsibilities

1. Procedure Preparation

  • Prepare the operating room or interventional suite.
  • Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare catheters, guidewires, stents, and grafts.

2. Assist During Procedures

  • Assist surgeons during vascular procedures such as:
    • Angioplasty
    • Stent Placement
    • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair
  • Pass instruments and devices to the surgeon.
  • Operate imaging equipment when required.
  • Maintain a sterile field.

3. Imaging & Equipment Operation

  • Operate imaging systems used for vascular procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and imaging displays.
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.

4. Patient Care

  • Prepare patients before procedures.
  • Assist with positioning and sterile draping.
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures.

5. Inventory & Documentation
